When setting up user groups in the System Setup - User Security screen you can limit users ability to make changes, add or delete information on specific screens in Pilot by using the "read-only" option. If this setting is checked, the user will be able to open and view all information in that screen but will not be able to edit any information. Their ability to create or delete new records will also be removed.
In the example below, users would be able to open the Sales Quotes, Sales Orders and Customer screen but would not be able to edit existing Quotes, Orders or Customer information and would not be able to add or delete new ones.
